Helping your child at home

Learning must be seen as a joint approach between parents and schools.

We expect that children are reading at home , supported by an adult, at least 3 times a week. If children read 5 times a week, they receive a merit mark.

Children are also sent home with weekly spellings to learn and homework.

In their daily folders, children  from Y2 upwards also have times table booklets  which they need to practise and Mission Maths booklets which directs them to practise skills which is signed off at school.

DON'T FORGET, the children also have, RM Easimaths and Purple Mash to also support and consolidate their learning. You will find their log in details for these systems in their reading record.
